In addition to the education, it implements the consultation to the Japanese companies in terms of cost reduction, organization management, supply management, global sourcing and logistics. C.P.M. certification programs： ISM established the certification program that is the C.P.M.(Certified Purchasing Manager) in 1974 as the global supply management professional designation. ISM Japan started to promote its program in Japan from 2003 in cooperation with Bureau Veritas Japan. Alliance with the university： The Tama University, located in Tokyo and its post graduates program are interested in co-promoting the C.P.M.certification program with ISM Japan, and the co-program started in April 2004 with its splendid campus at Shinagawa Intercity. The Gakushuin University, located in Tokyo and Professor Dr. Morita is very proactive in the field of Production management and supported to the CAPS Japan research group since 1999.
